designer’s own words:
The product turns two plastic bottles into a clothes hanger by screwing the bottles into the hook. By the concept that reuses empty plastic bottles, I try to present to consumers a realistic idea to address environmental realities and encourage the reuse of already “consumed†items to form a new functional product. The design incorporates the following features that make it practical and appealing to both producers and consumers: • Low cost, realistic commodity • The shape of the bottle provides more fit support for the shoulder of clothes than traditional ones • Inspire the interest of users: the concept will attract consumers and inspire a rethinking of consumption habits

Large quantities of disposable plastic cups are common site after any party. This is a modular structured system made of used disposable plastic cups and paper clips. In day time it functions as natural light source lighting and at night time it functions as light fixture with 220 volt light bulb situated inside the system. Similar to bee-hives structure this system can grow to any size and it is much stronger then its component.

Well, if a hipster, a celebrity, and a Side Car had a child, the Beatrice Inn would be it. Nestled in the heart of the West Village, the Beatrice mixes old-world charm with West Chelsea exclusivity. Don’t believe us? Try showing up on a whim and getting through the door. If, by some chance, you get into the cozy confines, make sure to nab a seat by the building’s original fireplace for your perfect-martini sip-fest.

Sixe began to paint in the middle of 89-90. Since then he has been making many works, and proving all type of materials, textures and forms.
He began bombing and making letters by the street and after a time it had an own style of letters and personages.
Later he entered a creative phase within a factory, painting his first pictures with letters like which he painted in the streets. Little by little he investigated new forms and styles, but without turning aside to him of my initial ideas, creating new series of pictures with personages, different forms and textures, that a little left the traditional graffitti.
After a time he started to work with the volume doing his first iron sculptures and compositions, transforming my plastic personages into 3D. Sixe has made three series at different times at which it is possible to be seen, like at the same time that it was changing the form of the personages, changed the series of the sculptures. Also he has been arranging his pictures in the street with working hours of hours in the factory, creating in different scopes and applying his creations in numerous projects: from exhibitions of graffitti, decoration of interiors, stores, to works for advertising agencies and marks of all type…
IF YOU DONT KNOW ABOUT KLINGATRON THEN ITS ABOUT TIME YOU DID!!!
During the decade when it was fashionable for women to have bigger shoulders than American footballers and welders could also be sexy dancers, Klingatron was born in Glasgow, Scotland.
By watching Tony Hart on the television Klingatron grew up with a pencil in one hand and a sketchbook in the other and through studying Illustration and Printmaking discovered a medium that he now concentrates on to produce his art with a style that can be described as detailed, although he describes his skills with stencils as “still being in my infancy†period. With each stencil Klingatron has a hunger to better himself every time and develop his work through a growing appreciation towards the world around him, looking at different subject matter and pushing his skills further.
So far he has managed to display work in Glasgow and Edinburgh but having only been creating stencil art for such a short period of time, it is just a matter of time to see how far he can take it…
WORKSHOP STORE PRESENTS THE “IM ONLY POPULAR ON THE INTERNET EXHIBITION” OPENING FRIDAY 5TH OCTOBER, 6PM-9PM EXHIBITION RUNS UNTILL THURSDAY 1ST NOVEMBER.
On September 1st Alife opened their LA store. The concept is once again ground-breaking and well translated into a retail concept.
The store is made like a walk-through shop window. All product are hanging behind glass on the wall, you can choose what you want and they will bring it.
They also brought back lots of great products that were sold out everywhere else. From the Puma x Alife First Round, old Alife t-shirts, Adidas x Alife collaboration, Reebok x Alife collaboration to a lot more - it’s all there.
We think it’s very refreshing what Alife did in LA once again…
Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Lo who came from a fast paced city where adventure was around the corner. This big city was full of smog, palm trees, and neon signs. There were millions of people in this city, but the longer she lived there, the lonelier she felt…
Once there was a young boy named Benjamin who came from a land of calm winds and four seasons. In many ways, life there was quite simple. But, the boy grew older and one day decided to see what else the world may have in store for him. So he headed west in pursuit of the unknown…
….Through an intricate combination of chance and circumstance, he found the young girl. The two quickly realized that their forces were much stronger together than they ever were apart.
Lo was so inspired by her new found love that she went on to design an ice cream truck that would drive around the city and spread fun and magic. Ben was so inspired by his new muse that he created a soundtrack of music for their truck and their life.
On any given night they are on one mission or another. You might find them starting impromptu dance parties with their new ep out of the truck, or postering the city with inspiring messages…Or maybe hanging golden hearts from street lines….You never know.
Together they stay home and tinker….playing games, creating wonder and sounds…. Conspiring on their next plans of attack…. You see, it is a very difficult task to navigate through dark forces of the city in which they reside.
You may think that once they found each other, the rest would have been easy. But, that is far from true. During the two month long process of making the debut double ep, the two were tested in ways that normal human beings would think was out of a science fiction movie……
By clutching onto the thought that others would be inspired by their music, they were able to perserve and finish the project. The result is a collection of songs divided into two parts. Side A contains electronic dance/soundtrack songs. Side B contains electronic heartschallenger ice cream truck songs. All of the songs were derived from love songs left on answering machines, and some of the beats were made by listening to each other’s heartbeat with a stethoscope. With a finished double ep and a truck stocked with international ice cream, candy and treats, what were the two to do next? In order to share their magic others, they need assistance in spreading the word of the beauty they have created.
Just remember, the greatest challenges are ones from the heart…………

The title “E Pluribus Venom†which translates “Out of many, poison†is derived from “E Pluribus Unum†(out of many, one) an early motto adopted by the U.S. Government which appears on U.S. coins and dollar bills. In the opinion of artist Shepard Fairey, many becoming one, or a loss of power and influence of the individual in favor of homogeny is a symptom of a society in decline. “E Pluribus Venom†could be interpreted as saying both that there is poison in the American system, and that many individuals are motivated by venom and anger toward this system. “E Pluribus Venom†is comprised of artworks designed to question the symbols and methods of the American machine and American dream and also celebrate those who oppose blind nationalism and war. Some of Fairey’s works use currency motifs or a Norman Rockwell aesthetic to employ the graphic language of the subjects they critique. Other works use a blend of Art Nouveau, hippie, and revolutionary propaganda styles to celebrate subjects advocating peace. The art addresses monolithic institutional power and authority and the role of counter culture and independent individuals to question the dominant paradigm. Shepard Fairey’s new body of work contains politically-charged paint, screen print, stencil, and collage mixed media pieces which use metaphor, humor, and seductive decorative elements to deliver provocative but beautiful results. These works blur the perceived barriers between propaganda and escapist decoration, political responsibility and humor with the intent of stimulating both viscerally and intellectually.
UPDATES!!!
Just to let everyone know, this is going to be a landmark show… They aren’t taking any shorts when it comes to Shepard’s NYC return! Get ready, they are announcing a SECOND SPACE for the exhibition. The second space is located in DUMBO, Brooklyn. For more information on the DUMBO Space hit the link the below.
